36 civilians have been reportedly  killed on Wednesday after an unidentified plane bombed a Nigerian border village after they were mistaken for terrorists. This incident happened on the same day Nigerian soldiers killed 300 Boko Haram members and recovered several communities which were under the control of the terrorist group , Daily Times Nigeria reports.

 "We don't know whose plane it was. We understand that the victims are residents who were gathered for a funeral ceremony but who were mistaken for terrorists. Around 30 people perished.

Air Commodore Dele Alonge, spokesman for the Nigerian airforce has come out to deny the incident, saying: "there has not been any report from our people of such an incident."
