Toyin Aimakhu issues press statement tttt on her 'I can die for PDP' speech

Just received this press statement...it's Toyin Aimakhu's reaction to the criticisms she received via social media on how she anchored the #MeetThePresident event on Sunday.
She says she has the right to say and do what she wants as there is something called freedom of speech and right.
And then she said it was just a joke, she didn't mean the statement, and then Nigerians should learn not to be hard on celebrities.
She further says you should stop envying other people's success.

Our country has given its citizens the right to freedom of speech and right to vote and be voted for, I'm most definitely not an exception. As of 1999, Nigeria has about 29 political parties, allowing every citizen to choose at their own free will. It is then left to us not to undermine the decision or choices of others as it is loathsome. We live in a world where people take pleasure in bringing other people down. I feel obliged to address the matter of me dying for the PDP. 
Firstly, no one is dying for anyone and the last time I checked only Jesus had died for us with no strings attached or money promised to his family when he's gone. He died to save us all. Haven't pointed that out, I will like to say, I will not , in any way, for no reason whatsoever, die for a person or a political party.
    Secondly, I personally feel it is pathetic for anyone to take my word literally when it was simply a joke. As a successful Nollywood actress, it is not unusual for people in my line of work to use the phrase 'ha baba, walai mo love yin gaan mo le ku fun yin ni sir' with smiles on their faces. This was me, just doing my job as a host of the event, trying to be funny, which by the way, worked. It is absurd to take my word out of context.
    Furthermore, my choices, should however in no way be a channel for condemnation. Celebrities and public figures, just like every other people, are allowed to campaign, vote and support whomever and however we please. As many great political parties we have, we cannot vote for them all. It is a one man, one vote society. I love everyone as best as I can, most especially my fans ,make your choice, respect the choice of others, let it be, and most especially, do not allow the choice of others affect yours.
    In conclusion, let's try to help others grow and support them. Don't let the success of others make you feel resentment against them or envious, simply learn from them and strive to do better.
I wish everyone safe, free and fair election.

No pause! They are not just meeting for the first time. They have been living together for over 65years. The man, Elder Dikam Garba Dabo'ok had seven wives and 32 living children but says luckily for him he has found Christ and he knows living in sin, will not take him anywhere especially now that he is old. So he decided to take one of his wives, (we are not sure if she is the first) to the altar to legalize their union.

He says it is such a privilege to start a new live, especially knowing it is a sin free one. The marriage ceremony was held at The Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), Plateau State, Nigeria.

House Warns FG Against Removing Jega, Tampering g With Fixed Election Dates

The House of Representatives on Tuesday, 3^rd of March, 2014 had warned the Federal Government against tampering with the already fixed election dates, particularly the removal of the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega.

In a resolution in Abuja, the House drew the attention of the political class, the Federal Government, State Governments and security agencies to warnings of unavoidable violence already issued by eminent Nigerians and groups, both on the international and local scenes. During yesterday's plenary, lawmakers also warned that persons whose actions would lead to violence must be held accountable at all judicial levels.

Part of their resolution read, "Hold personally accountable at domestic judicial forum or at the International Court of Justice, any persons or organisations that foist on INEC any decision or action whatsoever, including unconstitutional attempt to remove the current INEC chairman, that has the effect of making it impracticable for elections to hold on 28th March and 11th April, 2015."

"Such removal can only be achieved when two things happen, viz, (a) his inability to discharge the functions of the office, or (b) for misconduct, as determined by two-thirds of the Senate," the resolution added.

But the Riberios say the whole thing is BS -- with their lawyer telling TMZ Sports, "My clients strongly deny these allegations."

"Chris Brown is the proud father of a 9-month-old baby girl ... TMZ has learned. The baby's mother is a 31-year-old former model named Nia -- who we're told has known Chris for several years.

Sources connected to both Nia and Chris tell us they are on very good terms -- however they're not together romantically. We're told 25-year-old Chris is happy about being a father.

It does not appear there is a formal child support order in place -- and we do not know the nature of any informal terms of support.

One thing's for sure ... baby girl looks a lot like Daddy", the media house reports.

It will also be recalled that during his visit to "The Breakfast Club" last month, Chris spoke about remaining faithful to his current girlfriend Karrueche. While Bobby Brown's family is still grieving over the circumstances surrounding Bobbi Kristina, TMZ as learnt the family is also shooting a reality show. Sources tell TMZ Bobby Brown's two sisters who loves fame are behind it, but Bobby will never show up in it.

However, Bobby's sisters, Leolah and Tina both have a history.

Leolah is the one who went on the record blaming Ray J for Whitney Houston's death, claiming he fatally fueled her cocaine habit. While Tina is the one who did a sit-down interview and claimed she did crack with Whitney. She also recently fought her son with a bottle at a hotel near the hospital where Bobbi is lying in coma. It's however unclear if that will be on the show.

It appears that they have not shot any video in the hospital, but they have regular debriefs at home on camera where they talk about the tragedy.
