 Acne

Acne is caused when oil and dead skin cells build up and block hair follicles, causing unsightly pimples and bumps. Acne can scar the skin and cause a lot of emotional stress. If you are an acne sufferer, here are some DermaFix products that you can use to treat your acne:

Stretch marks and scars
Stretch marks are a form of scarring on the skin with an off-color hue. They are caused by tearing of the dermis, which over time may diminish, but will not disappear completely. Stretch marks are often the result of the rapid stretching of the skin associated with rapid growth or rapid weight changes. Stretch marks in most cases may also be influenced by hormonal changes associated with puberty, pregnancy, bodybuilding, hormone replacement therapy, etc. Scars are areas of fibrous tissue (fibrosis) that replace normal skin after injury. A scar results from the biological process of wound repair in the skin and other tissues of the body. Thus, scarring is a natural part of the healing process. They pose no health risk in and of themselves, and do not compromise the body's ability to function normally and repair itself but can be aesthetically unappealing. These DermaFix products can be used to treat stretch marks and scars generally:

      Hyperpigmentation
When we speak of pigmentation, we are referring to the colour of a person's skin. Skin pigmentation is caused by a substance in the body called melanin, which gives our body colour (pigment) in areas such as the hair, eyes and skin. Our skin tone, hair colour, and eye colour are all a result of melanin. However, certain factors sometimes cause our bodies produce an excess of melanin, leading to the skin darkening beyond what is genetically normal for the individual. These factors include, but are not limited to, sun exposure, certain medication usage, fragrances and perfumes, and even heat.  This skin darkening is termed as 'hyperpigmentation' and although relatively harmless, these dark patches can be aesthetically unappealing. Here are some DermaFix products that can be used for correcting this uneven skin tone:
