Former minister Obanikoro is one of the eight newly nominated Ministers by President Jonathan . His supporters stormed the National Assembly in Abuja this morning saying Obanikoro deserves a second time and should be picked. Some placards they carried  read;

'APC leave Obanikoro alone', 'Obanikoro is good for the job', 'APC stop attacking Obanikoro', 'We want Obanikoro for Minister', amongst others. We patiently wait for next week's announcement. '
