According to DailyStar , experts have suggested the cricket crawled in there in search of shelter during daylight hours.A lecturer at the University of Derby who is an expert on invertebrate biology and goes by the name Michael Sweet, identified the creature to Daily Star Online as an Indian house cricket.
He spoke out after the video was posted online of the medical procedure to remove the bug from the unidentified man's ear. The lecture said : "These critters are known to be an invasive species, appearing all over the globe.

"Now being found in places like Australia, they like warm countries and hide during the day.t is likely this cricket crawled into the man's ear while he was sleeping and was just hiding there until night came around.During the night or early evening he would have likely crawled out on its own and gone on its way.This beastie will have just been uncomfortable for the victim.However, it could possibly have done some damage to the inner-ear which would have resulted in temporary balance and hearing issues."
