ECOWAS to deploy 250 observers for Presidential electionn

ECOWAS has revealed that arrangements has been made to deploy 250 observers for the presidential election which hold on March 28 .The organisation's president, Kadré Désiré Ouédraogo disclosed this as he led a five-man delegation to visit to Buhari. He said :

"We have decided to deploy an observer team of 250 persons to Nigeria and we have decided to deploy a long-term observation mission. They were deployed from January 20 to the geopolitical zones of Nigeria. They came back on Febuary 9 after the postponement of the election but we had debriefing session with them.

Unidentified jet Bombs Village, kills 36 civilians in Borno

36 civilians have been reportedly killed on Wednesday after an unidentified plane bombed a Nigerian border village after they were mistaken for terrorists. This incident happened on the same day Nigerian soldiers killed 300 Boko Haram members and recovered several communities which were under the control of the terrorist group , Daily Times Nigeria reports.

Indian Man Kidnaps Himself in Abuja! Asks for 7 Million Naira Ransom!!!

You are looking at Vishwanath Mishall, an Indian native residing in Abuja who arranged hs own kidnap and demanded a 7 Million Naira ransom from his boss. Mishall who has been arrested by the Anti-kidnap squad of the Nigerian Police force, left Abuja and travelled to Enugu State when he arranged his own kidnapping.

His accomplice called to inform his employers that he had been kidnapped and would only be released if a ransom of N10m was paid.

According to the Nigerian Police Force, an agreement of N7m was reached, which was paid into an account of the Kidnapping accomplice. Mishall was however arrested on Thursday February 12 when he went to the back to the bank to withdraw the money at Enugu.

Mishall has confessed that he faked his own kidnapping as a plot to get money off his boss. The Abuja Criminal Investigating Department is still investigating before the suspect will be charged to court.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has called on Nigerians to be calm after the recent bombings in the country has killed hundreds. This was made known to the public in a statement issued in Abuja yesterday February 19 by Atiku's Media aide, Malam Garba Shehu.

According to the statement by the former VP, Nigeria's democracy is on trial and that no matter what efforts were applied to the contrary, Nigerians should never give up their desire for change . He must pray for the spiritual hand of God to preserve and protect his life. Furthermore, he must also pray to Me so that I can give him liberty and healing in his physical body, says the Lord of hosts.

If it is Buhari that believes that I am alive and surrender his heart to Me, he will win the election. Nevertheless despite people's mandate they will neither release power to him nor swear him in as the president of the nation.
His situation will be similar to Abiola that had people's mandate, but was not given the chance to rule the country.

Upcoming Election:

1. If APC is not careful and increase their efforts in Lagos State, PDP will win the State.
2. If APC is slack in Ogun State PDP and SDP may take over the State.
3. In Oyo State, if APC did not become energized, PDP, Labour Part and Accord Party will dominate the State.
4. PDP is still firmly in control of Ondo State.
5. If care is not taken Labour party and PDP will snatch the rein of control in Kano State.
6. If the people of Kwara are not ready, APC will take the State.
7. If River State did not put in their best, PDP will win the State.
8. Also Edo people must be prepared or else PDP will take over the State – if Edo people only speak without appropriate actions, PDP will win the election.

February 2015:

Before February 2nd 2015, some political parties will merge with PDP because they want Jonathan on the presidential seat.

All Progressives Congress (APC):

APC will win many states in the gubernatorial election, but not the presidential seat at this time.

President Jonathan:

If he believes fully that all power belongs to Me and nobody has power except God then he will win the presidential election, but within six months after the election he will be ambushed.

Jonathan will only rule for one year after his swearing-in-ceremony because people will poison him whereby he will be sick and die on the throne/seat. If they did not succeed, then there will be physical confrontation to terminate his life and these are the reasons why he has to surrender his life and heart totally to Me says the Lord.

If he refuses to take steps to implement My directives, the event that will happen will be beyond his comprehension. If the above incident happens due to Jonathan's refusal, and an early presidential election is conducted before Jonathan's second tenure expire due to his demise or incapability then APC can win the presidential seat.

Jonathan and Buhari:

If these two men refuse to change, if they did not make Me their Alpha and Omega, both of them will contend/contest the presidential seat, but they will not be sworn-in.

I send this message to these men so as to be filled with My fear and fear Me in all their ways; Moreover, for them to realize that all power belongs to only God and not men, says the Lord of hosts.

I can't promise Nigerians elections will hold in March and April- Jega

INEC Chairman Prof Attahiru Jega, has said he cannot guarantee if elections will hold in March or not, stating that major part of it still has to do with the issue of security, which only the Military can clarify. The INEC boss appeared before the Senate yesterday .

Minority Leader, Senator George Akume, during the session asked Jega the to give a clear assurance about the dates of the elections. Jega said :

"I think it is a very difficult question to answer. I have said consistently that there are things under the control of electoral commission and there are things that are not under the control of electoral commission. For things that are under our control, I can give definite and categorical assurances. On what is not under our control, it is futile, it is fruitless and useless to give a definite guarantee on them. I think that question should be directed appropriately. The questions of security, I will leave it, I don't think I am competent to answer it sufficiently."

When asked what his response would be if the security agencies requested a further delay :

"Every Nigerian knows we want elections to hold… within a constitutional time frame. The security agencies are (made up of) patriotic Nigerians. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt. We should be fair also to the military. Soldiers are also patriotic Nigerians. I don't see how anybody will contemplate any extension beyond these six weeks. There is no constitutional grounds upon which you can do that. For us, we work by the constitution, by the law. That is what is guiding us and we should all put the interest of the nation at heart. The human factor is always significant, it is always important but we believe that working together with security and other stakeholders, we should be able to prevent negative human intervention that can create problems.

"I kept saying consistently that INEC is not a security organisation. We are an election management body; so we rely a lot on security to be able to ensure that things are done well and that there is no disruption of the electoral process.

"We have been working very closely with the inter agencies consultative committee on election security and that is why for us, if the service chiefs say that we can't guarantee security, give us more time, what is the alternative security arrangements ?

"If we consulted with the stakeholders and we cannot find an answer, what happens? We are going to use close to 700, 000 ad hoc staff. We can't send people to the field in that kind of a situation.

"Our prayer is that in the next six weeks, there will be significant improvement in the security situation for us to hold the elections all over this country in a very secure environment.

"There are certain questions that we are not really competent to answer. Certain questions should be directed to the military; they can answer them better."
